Our story began in 2020 with The House Call, a home-based medical service founded by Dr Nakhwa to bring quality healthcare directly to patients in the comfort of their homes. As the need for more comprehensive, coordinated care grew, The Medical Suite was established in 2025 within this private hospital complex. This transition allows us to offer patients the same personalised care, now enhanced by direct access to hospital amenities, specialists, and diagnostic services — ensuring continuity, convenience, and excellence in every aspect of care.

Dr Zaakir H Nakhwa
General Practitioner (MBChB)Dr ZH Nakhwa is a dedicated general practitioner with a special focus on home-based medical care designed to support patients and their families through every stage of health and illness. A graduate of the University of Stellenbosch and part time Family medicine lecturer at the University of Cape Town, he combines clinical expertise with a passion for education and community healthcare.
Dr Nakhwa is passionate about providing quality, accessible, patient centered healthcare in rooms or in the comfort of your home.
His interests include comprehensive general health checks and screening, geriatric medicine, and end of life care. He is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care that prioritizes the individual needs, dignity, and wellbeing of every patient.
Dr Salmah Hamdulay
General Practitioner (MBChB)Dr S Hamdulay is a caring and dedicated general practitioner who is passionate about patient education, chronic illness management and women’s health. A graduate of the university of Stellenbosch, she believes that empowering patients with knowledge is key to better long-term healthcare.
She is dedicated to providing non-judgmental, comprehensive care that respects each patient’s unique journey. She takes time to truly get to know her patients, creating a comfortable and trusting environment where concerns are heard and addressed with empathy. Can we claim from our medical aid?
Yes, If we are not contracted to your medical aid scheme, we can provide you with an invoice to submit to your medical aid for reimbursement.
Can we be seen by a doctor without an appointment?
Even though we prefer patients to book in advance to avoid prolonged waiting times, we will try to accommodate all patients at our earliest availability.
Do you accept cash or card payment?
Yes, we have multiple payment methods available at our rooms (including cash, card, Immediate EFT or payment link)
